Dream Wedding in Maine

I know it has been a really long time since I have blogged. I promise I"ll catch up later, BUT for now can you all do me a favor and help me help my neighbor win a wedding of her dreams..if you could all click on the link below and vote for Alyssa & Nick, just click on the 5th star, and that"s it, your vote has been cast..Alyssa moved into the house next door with her mother when she was just 3 yrs. old. Through the years I have seen her turn into a fine young woman who wants nothing more than the wedding of her dreams with the man she loves...If you could all help me, help her, I would be so appreciative..The contest ends March 9th (ah, this Friday) but up until then you can vote once a day...please feel free to share the link with all your friends and ask them to vote. What woman does not deserve the wedding of her dreams??? I thank you from the bottom of my heart! Debbie (Maine)

Click on the link below, click on the 5th star where it says rating! Thank you so much!

  1. Debbie,
Congrats on your soon to be born Grand Daughter!! Lucky you!
Thanks so much for your recent visit and your very kind and encouraging words!
I actually wanted to be an interior decorator but my Mother would not allow it. I would have had to go to school in New York City as back then, there were no colleges offering Interior Design around here, as there is now. She made me be a nurse because my sister was one and " it would be something to always fall back on". Unfortunately, I have never had to fall back on it because I have never been able to quit working full time! And my sister who always wanted to be a nurse, worked only 18 months after graduating to put her hubby through anesthesia school then did not work for 14 years, returned to working as a nurse part time for 6 years and then left and went on disability due to a car accident. I always laugh and say that there is no justice in that but I have been able to keep my family afloat financially when Joe worked in factories and suffered lay offs and shut downs.
SO.... I play with my house, it is my passion and I am very thankful that other's appreciate my efforsts so THANK YOU for your kind words!!

    Hugs,
    Deb
